Delivery Information

Wood Flooring direct operates and supplies to the UK. If you are purchasing from abroad, please call us for more information on +44 800 068 1026.

All orders that exceed £500 (Before VAT) will be delivered Free of Charge to mainland UK. For Flooring Orders below £500, we charge a flat rate delivery of £70.00. For accessory only orders, we charge a flat rate £27 Delivery on orders under £500.

We use independent companies for all our deliveries. Customers will be charged another full delivery charge if, for any reason, the delivery company have to re-deliver the goods. This can be anything from £45 to £120 or more depending on the quantity and the location.

We therefore advise all customers to check whether there is any reason a vehicle (which may be up to 40’ long – smaller vehicles can sometimes be arranged if advised in advance) may not be able to stop, park or deliver at the address they have requested. Drivers only have a 1 hour time slot available for deliveries so be aware that they are free to leave should it take longer than this.

Whilst some drivers are very amenable, they are only legally bound to unload the goods from the vehicle. They do not have to transport it inside or carry it up numerous flights of stairs etc. They are not insured for this should they damage anything. Please try to make sure there is sufficient capable man/woman power on site to unload and store the quantity of flooring requested. Always try and give a site contact number should the driver have any difficulties due to finding the place, parking or getting stuck in traffic. Often the driver can ring 1 hour beforehand to allow the client to arrange the necessary personnel or direct them to the site.

Deliveries can be anytime between 9am-5pm unless an AM premium is paid (delivery by 12pm) or a pre-10am premium is paid (delivery by 10am).

Refunds & Returns Policy

We will accept whole orders back unopened, whatever the reason of return, with the original packaging for within 7 days. The goods should be returned back to us and the cost of delivery will need to be covered by you. The goods should be returned back to us and the cost of both inward and outward delivery will need to be met by you. There will also be an administration fee of 5% of the total order returned. If the goods sent to you are not as per your order form these fees will be wavered.

Please check your order form to confirm that you have ordered the correct goods to avoid any confusion. Paid orders that are cancelled less than 24hrs before delivery will be subject to and an administration charge of 5% and possibly a delivery charge if the goods have already been dispatched

We do not accept part order returns.

Delivery costs can only be refunded if the return is due to an error on our part.

Before installing the boards all reasonable care should be taken to ensure that ALL the boards are flawless. We will not accept claims for damaged, faulty or part damaged items once the flooring has been laid. Once the goods have started to be installed or used in any other way it will be taken as conclusive evidence that the buyer has accepted that ALL goods are in good order. You must accept full responsibility for the suitability of the goods ordered for the purpose to which they are put.

All credits will be processed within 14 days.
